Aquaristics
A rather extensive hobby of mine are tropical fresh water fishes.
Right now we maintain roundabout 40 aquaria.
Here are the major categories of genera we rear
- Predatory fish, i.e. Channa, Parachanna, Protopterus and Lepisosteus
- Smaller labyrinthfishes, i.e. Betta, Trichopsis, Sandelia
- Lifebearers, i.e. Heterandria, Limia and - of course - Poecilia
- Brackish fishes
About the species
Whenever I find the time I will add a description of the more interesting species we keep.
Some of our fish are not kept regularly in aquaria and I would like to share our observations
and experience we've made so far with you.
I have set first priority on: Protopterus annectens, Sandelia kapensis, Channa pulchra,
Pisodonophis boro and Limia melanogaster.
